Vintage Prescott came around once more and as usual, it was great. Missed last year, as I had a broken collar bone.

The biggest engine was the 25 litre V8 in this 1905 Darracq.

This one was pretty big too.

Image

We followed this part of the way and I throught it was a "Czech" car and yes it was a Tatra, with a V8 (Aircooled if I remember rightly).

Here is the Rover turbine in the car park.

A lovely Austin 7 Ulster....I want.

Image

Very well prepared.

Image

Another Austin 7 (This time a Gordon England Cup model), that I would like.

Image

A very nice 4.3 litre Alvis, if you have a spare £60 - 80000.

The tyre Smoking Bentley Napier about to lose some rubber.

Image

Deja Vu; some Talbot like the ones I saw at Le Mans a month ago.

Image

A Prince Henry Vauxhall.

Not seen one of these before.

Isn't that the one built by that crazy Bangladesh guy from Chop Shop, or is that the real deal?

:) Minors eh, they're quite a phenomenon and I can think of no similarly old car that still exists in such numbers or that's so utterly perfect as a daily driving machine on account of its economy and ease of maintenance. That pair both appear to be very fine examples, especially the Traveller.

They both were fine examples, waited for a bit to speak with the owners but Id suggest they had gone into the pub for lunch. Funnily though, i had parked the singer across the road in a car park, on my return, there were 3 older couples gushing about it..took me half an hour to get away

On the A5 heading for cannock yesterday evening I spotted a Black Hillman Imp, Morris Minor Traveller, and a 1968 Toyota saloon in pale blue
