Stopped off at the Damn Yankee's car show on the way back from a weekend of offroading. Here's a few pics.

Star of the show (for me)

And this Morris Minor has had a halogen headlight conversion.

Not the usual place for storing the spare wheel on a minor!

It's not, but it is a very good idea made possible by the smaller than standard wheels. One downside I can see with that though: The bonnet will be much less easy to open but I do like the Weber and the LCB, suggesting that the thing's possibly quite fast enough to push those convex BPF headlamp lens flat. :D

Is it not Topaz John?

 Wow! More posts have vanished. :?

I thought Saffron because Topaz is much more orange-like but all of these BL shades can be confused on OLED panels for some reason: Saffron, Topaz, Bronze Yellow, Harvest Gold, Limeflower and possibly Sandglow as well, though they're all very different in real life.

I always use flickR, mainly because it's clean, isn't wick with ads & spies and is much less restrictive generally but that wouldn’t help as it's posts that are vanishing, though I removed that last one myself as I was informed that I "didn't have permission to use that image." :?

Whose permission please :?: It's from the same folder as several other images I've put up to this thread over the years.

Saw a few out yesterday, between here and Droitwich. There were a few Morris Minors (One was a van), a Rover P5 and then a the place I went to, an MG J2, various MGBs, Spridgets, an MGB GT V8 with 2500 miles on it (Yes 2500 and it looked genuine - still with OE Goodyear tyres on it and front seats not sagged), a Turner, a tatty but complete and original Mini Cooper 998, Porsche 911 and some kind of bubble car.
