I think the rest of the internet is too. One thing you can guarantee is that it will be built to a better quality with a better paint finish than Ford could ever have managed!

Done abit more.Started on the n/s rear quarter and in the boot area.

Been collecting some nice parts over the past few months.
Brand new old stock genuine front grille.

A pair of perfect door handles.

Perfect seat belts.
Image
Genuine perfect condition lotus steering wheel and gear knob.

Twin 40 dcoe 18s bought and refurbed.

Also bought a set of 15" minilites.I have the lotus steels aswell but these look the nuts on a lotus mk1.

Heres a few pics of a lotus mk1 with these wheels on.
Have to shorten the rear axle by 20mm for these to fit.

She's got her face back :) always nice to see a project come together. Have you got much more to do before you send her off for paint?

Theres a lot of prep to go yet but I would have thought I would have painted it within the next few months.
Its my workshop so I do all the painting ect.

Excellent progress and great workmanship :thumbs:
Have to admit to not liking the 15" wheels though,look to big and modern (IMHO of course ;) )
Much prefer to see the finished car on original steels,but either way it will still look amazing :D
