First drive out today, went great, forgot how great she sounds at full chat! The Toyo's make steering heavy at low speeds but serious grip!
Brakes need another bleed as does clutch, and I must have another go at stopping the CSC from banging against the body, but nothing I put on fell off so Im happy.
I restored the alloys over the week in evenings so she is looking mint, will get photos on soon

Gave her a clean up and went to work..........
No one had an idea what it was at work.
But everyone comment how clean it was and great it sounded.
On the way home a loud graunching noise started on gradual braking from front , I'm guessing will be something to do wit front pads or discs.
My god does she pick up from 50 -70!! Felt like she would pull 3 figures easy! Tons of torque too.

Well, it is an Alfa - there's supposed to be something wrong isn't there?
Looks nice though, it's almost hard to believe it's a 1990ish car - looks as if it could be "factory fresh"! You can now get the benefit of the hard work - enjoy!!

Long story and I won't pollute 75 Nut's thread with it but suffice it to say that it's all too easy if you don't keep an eye on how or why your storage space appears to be running low.
In my defence I have owned most of my daily drivers for years at a time, the rest were just things that I saw and decided I wanted, this usually because some green wellie-wearing ponce had pilloried a particular car in the press and what did he know? I'd prove the shandy drinker wrong, right? Er, sometimes I would. Sometimes.
