No Martin, not Silverstone, there is a clue in the name of the image which comes up when you right click, select "view image in original location" then look under "permissions". It wasn't a recent one - must have been on the Fuji's XD card at least two years as I had left it dormant and only bought it a pair of fresh AA cells last month, phones are so much more convenient bar the lack of a tripod socket - but was posted to illustrate Rob's lyrics as quoted in the post above that.
;)
Couldn't seem to get that to work for me (But then my PC is known as "Dickhead"). I'm thinking Brands but I think the pits there are a bit more uphill , though the colour scheme looks a bit Brands......the car could be seen at Classic Le Mans but I fancy I can see Abbey in the advertising on the grandstands, so not exactly French. I haven't been to Le Mans for years (I am going there this year) but those are definately NOT the old stands :!:

Well that counts as a correct answer I suppose, please sell me the trucking songs and Worzels LPs, the price of those is the prize! :D

Well the year is correct, but asking Dad, who's a mere 82 years of age and sharp as a draught excluder, he swears it wasn't Silverstone. The file name is actually not that, as you'll see from the screendump attached, so how the one that comes up in image search changes that is something I can only put down to the piccie having been borrowed by someone who's posted it more often than the original was posted in cyberspace so far. Work to do there methinks, off to post it everywhere.
The file is too big, maximum allowed size is 128 KiB.
:? (OK, original from the Fuji was over 2MB, fair twos).

Brought that back to the top, click to open and see details. I posted it to another forum at the time, it would need to be renamed for G51 someone to have moved it. For anyone who's a member there, the image on that forum has now been edited and replaced by a message about the benefits of taking notice when told to sort their own image hosting PDQ! :P

It certainly looks like the old pit wall at Silverstone, though I haven't been there in over twenty years. I will however (I hope) get to see some Lola T70s at Le Mans in July :D :!:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jyg_O1Nh ... re=related Shame about that debacle  after the Dunlop Bridge and breaking up the Mulsanne Straight but it's still Le Mans. I'm glad that I saw it when the Dunlop Curve was taken at 170mph and quick cars skipped, as they went under the bridge......towards a good out braking spot, as they went into the Esses :D :!:

That's not one of the old chap's, different details about the camera. Still, everybody has to collect something, even if it's OBEs.

And today, with me blower, I espied this luvverly 944, just like the one in the recent thread about impact absorbing bumpers but without the scantily clad young woman:

Nope, it was a real 944  and a little blurry as I didn't like to get too close. It was actually the AsDa car park.

And the L O L A?
The title was the clue, I expected a gamer to know it.
