How much were they asking for it :?: ;)

The Super Minx has been back and fore but I still don't know where it lives.

An Austin 7 Chummy went past about an hour ago, with the roof down :D.

Been down in that Whitley Bay today and they're all at it in this hot weather. I especially liked a light green metallic Mk 4 facelift Cortina 1.6L on a Y plate. It appeared totally unspoilt with as original a look as I've seen on an old Ford. Followed it from Tynemouth all the way up the front while it turned off into Cullercoats at the kettle. 20 mph all the way, lovely job.

And a BGT in that even nicer than Tundra shade of barf green came in as I reached the road that goes by feathers and on to the sluice, looking fresh and shiny in its very '70s shade.

Then another 'Tina sitting in a drive on the way home through Seahouses, looking well loved and maybe a bit much played with but hey, at least they're about.
:)

It had a minor bump on the drivers side front but otherwise looked pretty good :)

A Triumph TR6 (The car, not the motorbike) went past the shop this morning.

On the subject of old cars, I have been watching some older Last of the Summer Wine episodes, on DVD. I can identify every car on there, even at a distance. These days I can no longer make that claim. This may sound far fetched (Even a bit "Sad") but as a teenager and possibly a bit before that, I could often tell a car by sound before I saw it (Whether apparently having perfect pitch helped, I don't know). As a case in point this morning, I guessed a TR6 was coming or perhaps a big Healey....must be slipping.
