) the lovely Ms Friel is exceedingly healthy. Though my Betamax copy of her appearance in "The Tribe" has worn almost through the tape at the point where that scene happens (bed, t-shirt, leg raising, etc, Rich will know what I mean 'cos I PM'd him a still from the TV showing of the Poliakoff classic). But that's Betamax for you, no new tapes being sold and old stock ones tend to be randomly unreliable, which is in no way related to my use of the pause and slow-mo controls. 
Seriously though? Ever since I first had my turn at the forum's favourite communal dream; the one involving a younger (Brookside era) Friel and a red K10 (with the CVT transmission option and a period Sharp radio/cassette fitted in place of the factory Clarion wireless set), I've longed to meet this most gorgeous of celebrities and have a darned good chat with her about, among other things, her views on why they ever stopped making Austin Maxis, whether the Colette was the best ever K10 and how she would go about rescuing Saab.
