I find it almost comical that the latest Fiesta is larger than my MK1 Focus, the 1 series BMW is the same wheelbase (and width) as an original 3 series, etc.
I really don't understand the need for it. BMW are going to have a problem in another 10 years, they will have to launch the 0.5 series
On a side note, I saw one of the local land rover lightweights on the A50 this morning and I am sure I saw that multi-coloured kitten again but going the opposite way to me and didn't catch the plate.

I saw an elderley LWB Land Rover (Series 3......could even have been a 2A....were the lights closer together

), going past Ebbw Vale cemetary. Shortly before, when walking through Morrisons car park, I saw a new 63 plate Land Rover SWB. It was the only vehicle in the car park, that interested me and I pondered that it probably had the best chance, of anything in there, of surviving long enough, to become a classic.

It is definitely a design classic now like Morgan is.
