Went for a bike ride last Wednesday, through a place called Man Moel. It's high on the mountain, between the Ebbw and Sirhowy valleys and feels as though its miles from anywhere. Cycling along one of the bridleways, I spotted an old Jaguar saloon (Could have been a Mk2) languishing in a farm yard.

Most of a white Escort Mk1 on a flatbed going through Chelmsford yesterday. Seemed to be going to it's next stage of restoration as it was carefully tarp covered.

Saw an early MGB roadster late Tuesday evening. It didn't half look small (Nice too). OK, the MGB is a small car but I never thought of them as being that small......they keep saying there is an epidemic of obesity; they must be talking about cars. When you see an old one, it stands out.

Yes, gorgeous cars and not the sort of thing you see every day. There's an orange one of these locally that hasn't been seen at shows since about 2003 but to see one in a car park, among ordinary cars, is very fortunate!

Yes, but it's that not so orangey shade of orange-meets-camouflage that was seen on some Fiats of the period and always looked flat after a few months. Sort of an Italian version of BMC Bronze yellow. Nowhere near as orange as your Automite but then even a bag of ripe satsumae isn't as orange as that!
Apparently, some carrot topped Scouse DJ by the name of Evans has a 130 among his mahoosive collection of Italian exotica. Chances are that'll have been painted white to match his other cars. There's also a lovely coachbuilt estate version of the 130. Sort of an Italian Scimitar but without the
Midlands Mercedes' Triumph and Ford DNA.
