i was quite taken with the matford?? ive never heard of them before... i thought you might have gone for the montego as its mostly plastic & for once ive managed to find a rather attractive breakdown truck :D

The Matford is a collaboration between the French Mathis company and Ford, using the Ford V8 engine. The similarity with the contemporary Ford model is clear. They were built from 1936 to 1939 but production never restarted after the war. A rare find indeed and one worthy of restoration.

That A55 MK2, isn't it based on Lord Larkin's car, whose interior some piece of pondlife slashed and sprayed a few years back? I wonder whither it comes with a model of the man himself.
