Driving down the a50 today I spotted a MK3 e-type roadster, Triumph TR5, MGB Roadster burning more oil than petrol and a MK1 Escort all within a mile of each other. Bank holidays are good for classic spotting. Shame there aren't any more until Christmas :S

Followed (for a while) yesterday by a GPW/MB/M201. Couldn't tell which version as they are all identical in a rear view mirror.

Now this is really is a beetle in disguise of a 1939 VW Steyr and if you google it you will get some better photos of it. Also it lives in Hastings I think.

Two great spots there, Tariq. Especially liking the Minor. :)

Sorry, no pic as I was drivikng but today on the way home from work I spotted some poor sod with a gorgeous Landcrab with the bonnet up and the back box hanging off in the emergency layby on the A12 just before the George Green tunnel in Wanstead................not the most pleasant of places to be stuck :( So, if you're reading this, sorry but no chance of getting across from the outside lane to assist- it's like a 40mph bumper to bumper touring car race at that time of day!

I've been there with a failed rotor arm in the mog and if it is the layby I am thinking of you are right, it is a nightmare. Made worse when some moron throws a bag of McDonalds rubbish at you.
Today must have been white classics day, Convertible mog followed by a frogeye on the A515 then about a mile further on a white Maestro. In Brum a spitfire also in white then on the way back an MG Midget with the top down.
Just for a change in colour the same (I think) e-type from the other day.
Nothing interesting parked anywhere I have been so no pictures. I really need to fit one of those car cams to film the interesting cars I see while out and about.
