You're right, they do look nice! And a spare set of wheels is never a bad thing. :D
I didn't realise the V8 had 175s as standard. I'm running my 4-cyl on 185 70 14s and had assumed that the V8s were beefier than that.
I'm still surprised that the Dunlops behave that way though. Are they ancient? I had 20 year old Michelins on my Triumph Vitesse for a short while until I realised that age had turned them into Teflon! A clear lesson to me that lots of tread and a top brand name doesn't necessarily imply a good tyre. :oops:

You may have a point with this because even though my tyres haves loads of tread they do have some very small cracks on the side wall, so the tyres are certainly not that new! This is part of the reason I initially looked into changing the wheels because I was going to have to change the current ones at some point.

Hi all
I have a set of original wolfrace allloys which were purchased for a rover p6 . They were purchased many many moons ago!!! They have been hidden away an attic ever since (still boxed). Does anyone know anybody who would be interested???
