I do hope so, not only is it hiking our insurance costs, it is deterring voluntary groups from organising any kind of function.
Yes I know insurance costs have gone up.
Same insurance company as last year with another years no claims bonus.
last year about £600 for my modified motor and me being disabled, no changes from last year,
and they want almost £1,000 for the same cover!!
And that's tescos car insurance!!("every little helps" my arse!!)
so I cancelled and will be with a
differnt company when the car gets back on the road.
You haven't read Tesco's slogan in full;" Every little extra helps our profits" seems to be more correct. Their pricing policy is charge as much as we can get away with. I live in Milford Haven Which is the nearest town to the oil refineries (approx 3-5 miles ) yet we have to pay up to 5p a litre more than people in Pembroke Dock ( 8-10 miles ). The only reason that fuel is cheaper in Pemboke is Asda are there with a much more honest pricing policy. Over the last 3 years Tesco has lost my custom for fuel , almost £10,000 ,and groceries.
