New Top Gear Tonight (now)

#1 Post by MG Mal »

TG is back, not exactly an informative show, but I like it for the fun element.

Howmanyleft.
Not a single mention of my Mitsubishi J26 Jeep!

But apart from that a superb show as ever and what a wonderful piece on the E type.
In my opinion the new 1/2 a squillion £ special isn't in the same league.

8pm on Sundays (and repeated on wednesday but i can't remember when)
As Mal says, it is on the iPlayer ready to watch :)

iPlayer is UK only though, and proxy servers don't fool Aunty either, so Rich, move to the UK or wait for the repeats on BBC 2 and 3 during the week. :D

or do a sneeky search for a torrent

For those that did watch it but can't afford an Eagle Speedster, how about a frontline MGB

Liked the E-Type bit. I'm still a TG fan even if it isn't as fresh as it used to be!

Just heard a dreadful story from one of our site engineering consultants - has been on the waiting list for tickets to see the TG show being filmed live for five years - tickets at last arrive and he and a friend make there way to Dunsfold on Wednesday just gone. Upon arriving at the gate there is a bit of a queue in front of them and by the time they get to the gate there is 50 odd cars behind then in the said queue - they are told that they have made a mistake and sent out too many tickets - can not accommodate any more ticket holders - turn around and go home !! - No reissue of tickets for a later show - no apology - if you want to see it rejoin the waiting list again ! Looks like the beeb could not organise a half hearted pi** up.
