What do you make of these?
I volunteer in a Cotswold motoring museum & toy collection (it might be remiss to advertise the location on this forum.....?). Every time I go there I spot something I haven't noticed before.
I have recently been reorganising the counter area of a recreation of the village garage (from 60+ years ago), and found 2 "Power" or "Air" valves that appear to me to allow extra air into the inlet manifold, and that I guess date back to 1930's. I cant find any reference from Mr Google.
Anyone wiser about these - pics attached?

Uh-oh. The outcome I'm seeing there is a mixture so weak that the poor car to which the thing is fitted will run like a sack of pooh.
