breakdown truck

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Yes, it is strong money but it's a turnkey car.
Like I said, you pay your money you take your choice. An absolute minter sold at South West Vehicle Auctions only recently for three and a half grand. If you want to pay almost double that, it's your wonga!

That Wolseley, like the one in Foyle's War. If you watch the series and you look at Sam and think: 'Phoar!' I can't exactly show you cos Terry might get upset. But, there's a clip of her, bonking, in a program called The Wicker Tree. Then she swimming starkers in the river. It's enough to make you want to bid for that clapped out old rust bucket. Good luck with your search, it will be worth it. Just like old cars, Sam's got a cracking pair of hooters.

Barn
noun: barn; plural noun: barns
A large farm building used for storing grain, hay, or straw or for housing livestock.
synonyms: outbuilding, shed, outhouse, shelter; More
stable, mews, stall, pound, sty, coop; Dutch barn, byre;
North American
A large shed used for storing road or railway vehicles.
A large and uninviting building.

A large an uninviting building eh? So much for a romp in the hay.

Here's what your endevour's would look like if you took that project on:

That Discovery was a lovely buy for someone, seriously; no rot and it doesn't have bits missing? Bargain! A fresh engine or head work on the one currently installed would be easy to organise. Shame it's gone, I'd quite fancy a Discovery as they're pleasant to drive and cheap enough to throw away when you get bored with their funny little ways. ;)

Then there's the Montego. Hmm, its furniture looks promising, I'd love these chairs in my sun room, converted - in Top Gear studio style - to domestic use and complemented by a table made from a Porsche V8.
:|
But my selection, in spite of logic trying to work against me, would be the Berkeley. The last one I drove had a 1098cc A series complete with the AP semi auto gearbox and it was brilliant but they're so much prettier with their standard ride height and none of the ugly bulges so for that reason alone, Berkeley please! (Tricycles aren't subdivided into manual and auto by the DVLA, so are, technically, legal for people whose licence lacks the manual category for other vehicles..) 8-)
