For goodness sake Ed, all it needs is a new headlamp, a badge on the bonnet and a new set of tyres. Then after you've chucked a bucket of water over it, the car will look as good as new!

Well here's your chance: This one, 1999, 78000 miles, yours for just £650. Go for it.

Years ago, I worked with a guy who had seven kids, he drove an old Transit minibus, told me that when all his brood are in it, along with him and his missus, there's hardly enough room for the two hundred pound shop at Sainsbury's, that it takes to feed them all.
"You should buy some condoms," I told him. "Nah," he said, "a telly would be better."

Why do I instinctively know that most of you will know what model this boy-racer is? Had to be quick, he was about to pull out as I parked up. The only marking was on that whale-tail, boot-lid aileron, it read: PRODRIVE. There's an airscoop in the bonnet and the exhaust is bigger than a drainpipe. The engine sounded like something that you might hear on the starting grid at Silverstone.
