breakdown truck

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

i do find the c15 vans strangely attractive, there are thousands on the roads around here... my mate drove one for an auto paints firm in gloucester & his had 420,000 miles on it his only complaint was the heater was knackered & the boss wouldnt pay for it to be fixed

There's a Caprice hearse of that same type on eBay.co.uk just now too, it doesn't have the broken suspension (or is that what's known as "lowering?), but does have the same rather odd gargoyles around the roof. Apparently these things were pretty standard fare as hearses in Belgium. Note to self: Don't die in Belgium...

I love these old 204 Breaks, very functional yet not too sore on the eyes. Even that one, with the self portrait of its owner on the bonnet!

Rich, you should post all of those on barryboys.
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.
