youtube

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Rich, many people have come up with similar things, many such people are similarly eccentric and all the better for it.
8-) http://paradigmshift.tv/blog/oliver-smi ... echnology/

I've met Oliver and he's one of the warmest, most sincere human beings ever. Ordinarily, I'd be firmly in the cynics' camp where these things are concerned but that bloke is the real deal and sometimes, knowing that something works is more important than worrying about the science.

The above post is not intended as a sidelong reference to Oliver's choice of cars nor to any organisation that exists to promote the driving of similar cars, by their owners, to each other's houses where pies, tea and "knock knock" jokes from the 1960s are enjoyed by all.

 Wow! I need that tractor.

We've probably already looked at every other tractor-related clip there is to see, but other agricultural things can also surprise a few people. Ladles & Jellyspoons, allow me to bring to your attention the latest trend among the good folk of the South West - here's sheep racing:

OK, so at first, I was watching the Micro in the second clip and thinking that I'd rather have a motorcycle with a Microcar engine than a Micro with a bike engine. How so? Because if I lost the engine, I'd still have a motorcycle! ;)

A few cars at John O Groats the other day, start of the Monte Carlo. The Fiesta at the end has a mate of mine in it, it went to Monte as the car that was meant to go (a Riley RMA) wasn't ready...

Not sure why I didn't go to watch the start, other than its cold and dark in the mornings yet
