breakdown truck

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Really? Wow, you'd never guess that by looking at the poor, destroyed remains of the once magnificent car. :x

(I had an estate that colour too, Slate Blue I believe they call it. Somewhere, there's a photo and I've had the declutterists in this week so they may have put these and other car-related prints and slides in the memories pile, VCU284T, where are you now? (No, you won't find it on the MOT history site as it's been off the road since 1984, but the photo, that may be closer..)

I find it quite refreshing to see a genuinely different way to modify a Reliant Robin or Robin-shaped vehicle. Could be useful to have around at this time of year, if any of the equipment works. Hmm.Image

It amazes me that this

is not only fully functional but also holds fifty litres of water. So I guess it would work then. OK, who's for a daytrip to Lincoln, armed with some petrol, hammers and sources of ignition?
I'm calling first dibs on the doggie.
