I suspect Neon Owner has misread the original post (like I did It was Luxo's post that made me realise the real problem) and thinks the question was about Lambda sensors and not Lambada sensors.

Not that I can advise on dance moves - I can't work the accelerator as I only have two left feet

We will have to take steps to get it back on track.

I wonder if you can repair a Lambada sensor with metal from an old Tango can? Or even a Tango Can Can (so that you can do the downstream Lambada sensor, too).

Perhaps that's why a cat cleaner is useful. Mind you, I find the pressure washer at full tilt usually does a pretty good job.

Our last cat used to sleep in the bath when he was younger. That stopped after he rushed into the bathroom and jumped in without thinking - mother was filling the thing - the cat jumped out very quickly!

Better off setting up a lawn sprinkler where the blighters do their unwanted business
in the garden and sit near the tap. You may be out of using the hose pipe distance by
the time they see you walking towards them with the hose, but not a well laid sprinkler

Small technical point, there is no such thing as a Lambda sensor.

Lambda is the Air–fuel equivalence ratio the sensor in the exhaust is an O2 sensor that then works out the ratio and sets the engine to Lambda 1

There definitely is such thing as a lambda sensor. It is what certain manufacturers chose to call an oxygen sensor.

Hmm, it's donkey's years since I saw a hover vacuum (Hoover made one in the 50s/60s - the "Constellation"):



In my case, I Hoover the carpets, Silverline or Aqua-vac the car (or workshop, Rayburn flue etc), Karcher or Daewoo the stairs or fiddly bits (on rare occasions) or, if I am really sad, Vax the computer keyboard/motherboard! A friend insists he (ie his wife) Hoovers with their Dyson

Being pedantic, I don't think something for detecting a particular mobile phone service provider is actually used in car exhausts!!
