Shame it weighs a little more than 550Kg. (Got round the whole manual transmission thing with the Cinq by - brief version - registering it as a heavy quad (it weighs far below 550Kg, even with the fuel tank full and its spare wheel mounted) in a European country. Only PLG vehicles are divided into separate auto and manual categories for registration purposes, quads and tricycles aren't

That should be entirely possible and a decent auto could be an improvement, but the Diesel is such a rare car that it would be a great shame to modify.
