Mornington Crescent, anyone?

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Frank Barnes. Actually Franklin Barnes invented a system for degaussing ships. I had to go on 'tinternet' to find that. I discovered that it was an Aussie who invented the electric drill and the 'Black Box' flight recorder.

No, not Frankin Barnes either, but if you look at his listing on White Hat my "B" identity is on the same page.

Another clue then: My most famous invention was used in agriculture, not aviation, motor racing, pro athletics or fitting new soles to worn out baffies! :D
And I did mention that I'm dead, an ex-inventor, ceased to be, rotted away almost to nothing by now I should think. :(

Hello N, have you ever been arrested for doing one of those scary things?
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.
