breakdown truck

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

By any chance have you had a very strong coffee today Rich?

The Renault sinpar is interesting, sort of a defender but crappier :S
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

Oh, capital M capital G, as the young people say these days. That's only a pukka, genuine and totally correct G12!

 Strangely, for a '70s Renault, it doesn't appear to be, not even at the very tip of each front inner wing where they always tended to go even though the rest of the 12 shell was remarkably good at not rotting away. I'd have that if I could also find a solid 12 TL estate shell to put its oily bits in along with a flexplate, TQ, pedal box and transmission from a R18 auto. Then someone with a rusty 12 TN saloon could have that Gordini shell as you can't carry mopeds home from car boot sales in the back of saloons. :D

Great old bus the R12 is.
