Hillman Super Minx in the USA: ANy Rootes experts here??

#1 Post by Doctor Hugocat »

Hey everyone -

I'm new to the forum: I've been running classics for years, first in the UK and now in the USA after coming to live in Los Angeles.

So: the other day I got talking to a guy and he has a '63 Hillman Super Minx project which he's offered to me for very little. I've always wanted one, and there can't be more than a couple of dozen in the USA. Problem is of course that there are ZERO parts here.

So I'm thinking that there must be a bunch of common mechanical parts with the Sunbeam Alpines, which a better known here: can anyone advise? I've been researching on the net, but no luck.

Any advice appreciated!!

Thanks
B
