couldnt test that, need 2 pairs of hands!! i checked the connctions battery, starter etc & a slight bit of play on one connection but nothing to complain about tried again & she started let it run for 5 minutes & tried again.. this time nothing even when conncting the jump leads to the digger.. anyway both batteries are off & 1 charging starter is off & all is ready for a trip to my friendly auto electrician tomorrow!! :D

visited auto electricain, he tested the starter which was seized.. he stripped it & the 4 gear wheel things had no bearings left... he said ive never seen that before....

Trust you to have a car with a never before seen fault. Have you been driving it along on the starter to save diesel? ;)
Interesting for the starter to be intermittently seized but as long as you have it fixed so you can get back to work.
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

Just do what all builders do, suck your teeth and say "it's not gonna be cheap"

A bit native? Hmm, I've never met a British builder whose company motto was a quote from St Bede and that in spite of my not being far from the Holy Island so I'd say very native, very native and a little Eric!
