That is awesome work. I have always loved Jowetts tho sadly you really don't see that many any more which makes your restoration even more unusual. Top work :D

Welded in - mig on the seams and spot welded on the flange edges & where the two skins are flush

Just a closing panel to make up between the bottom of the wheel arch & the D post -once this is complete the out rigger can be attached

Outrigger now in place - flanges to edge of D post and sill were spot welded to match factory methods of assembly - closing section for end of outrigger made up and final welding of area completed

A small area of the inner wing had rotted out adjacent to the rear suspension mounting - water ingress had found its way down from the quarter glass in the rear wing and been held in this area forming a well - in turn the metal corroded from the inside out

We are just contemplating making up a trolley to mount the shell so that we can remove from the workshop and get it on to a trailer - we would like to exhibit it at our national rally in a couple of weeks time (25th & 26th May) see listing in events / meets / local clubs section - just gives everyone an insight into how much work is involved in a full restoration.
