I received my Practical Classics on the 24th November and it's dated January 2012.
Why do they have to do this? Is it so it stays on the shop shelves longer.

Re: magazine date
Probably something to do with the fact that Practical, like so many other publications these days, is published on a lunar, rather than a calendar monthly basis so their year has 13 months.mistertoad wrote:I received my Practical Classics on the 24th November and it's dated January 2012.

Hi Mr. T, This subject pops up around this time every year. PC goes to print every 4 weeks rather than every month so it drifts out of sync with the traditional calindar. There is a Spring issue out in April that pulls it back in line.
Land Rover Owner (also a Bauer mag) does it too, it means that I get a week or so between PC, LRO and Land Rover Monthly coming out so the other half gets more peace and quiet

Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.
