He really wouldn't have approved of those demolition gadgets then!

Just as I was beginning to think that possibly, just possibly mind, TG had settled into a bit of a rut, they come along and give us that. Fresh as ever and I want one of those landmine-removing machines.

Think of the time you could save weeding the garden.

Then back in and watch a few more on Dave.

Nice to meet you all by the way. Had followed on the official site, then I joined and it closed. So I felt guilty and stayed away for a while.

I'm with Rich on this one - it shows that they can do interesting and relatively mature TV when they want to.

Nice to see Ben (Stig 2) back in the fold - though I wonder if Fifth Gear were consulted. I assume they daren't use new Stig when the general public are about!

Aye, very impressive piece that was. Thought-provoking material from TG for the first time since Jason Dawe was replaced by James May.

Ben was probably the only driving instructor available

Actually thought this was the best of the recent TG series'. Good guests (well Noble and Cooper anyway) some nice cars and good laughs! And they even tried to do a serious car piece about Electric cars!!

According to the paper I read yesterday Nissan said that after checking the on board computer it seems that the battery was only 40% charged on the Leaf before they set out, hence it inevitably failed in Lincoln... So it seems that they are up to their old tricks again...

I can't understand why they do that sort of thing, a battery car fails on two major counts anyhow, lack of range and price, they don't need to fiddle things just to prove that...
