Re: Austin A35 Project

Well the offside sill is on and unlikely to come off easily given the number of plug welds and seam welded along top edge. Need to learn how to lead-fill or find a good filler for the rear joint.

Re: What classic vehicles have you seen?

Re: What classic vehicles have you seen?

Very quiet in the forum of late!

Driving back from a Club meeting last week spotted some vehicles that had probably been to the Restoration Show at Stoneleigh. Can remember a Triumph Vitesse and early Land Rover. Probably more on the dash cam footage!

Re: clio diesel

Make sure his code reader is compatible. I had a garage and the AA tell me my high pressure pump was the issue. Then it was the glow plug relay ... change of relay did nothing.

Started to fit the o/s sill. Like many cars these were spot-welded so plug-welding and will also weld along top and bottom edges.

Thank you!

Have also made a clutch pipe.

And plans afoot for the hoses, etc. Not cheap, but completely one-off.

Looking and Car Builder Solutions for parts but I keep seeing other bits I need ( ie want! ) :D ;)

I'll try and catch up with the project but much has been converting the manual clutch to an hydraulic operation and with the dash ... which I redesigned in 1979 and am now tweaking that.

But I did spend the last couple of days learning how to make brake pipes. I'm replacing the old master cylinder ...
