hi it's called barcoat made by upol most paint factors should stock it or plenty on ebay , i have used it over many problem paint surfaces to very good effect

it's possible the replacement jets have been made a few thou over size or maybe the old jets have worn a slight ridge in the guide bore , might be worth measuring the new jets to make sure

hi i wonder if an ldv pilot pas steering box will fit although powering the pump from the engine might not be easy depending on your power unit , an electric power column could be adapted , i belive the vauxhall corsa system is widly used on kit cars , mk 2 escorts etc , another thought citroen saxo ...

i tend to agree with with the last post , solvent trap will cause this as will shrinkage of the primer , this used to happen a lot when yellow spray putty was applied to thickly and after a time it would shrink taking the paint with it ,

hi the small seal on the end of the piston is a supposed to seal the resevoir when the pedal is pressed if this is not sealing the fluid will return to the resevoir , it sounds like it works when pressed quickly as it seals and holds under load but leaks under gradual pressure , is the thin spring ...

hi it's most likley to be the pads moving in the pad carrier , did the new pads have a spring clip riveted to them ? latter models had this clip to help prevent pad movement in the carrier , [early and late pads will interchange ] , also is the large anti rattle clip still in the caliper as they can ...
