Thanks for posting the one with the MKII Escort as I requested, most if not all Halewood built MKII Escorts were fitted with Triplex glass. One of my MKII's has had a front quarter replaced and that is Pilkington, I hadn't heard of Pilkington until I saw this thread.

I've seen quite a few Mk 2s at shows and the condition of these is remarkable for 30+ year olds, so perhaps they're a good place to start classic owning from. :)

I don't know what makes them think that estates are worth more than four door cars, very strange that, estates are worth the least.
