I don't want to see a rat filled old golf, do you seriously want to see it?!?!?!

Terry, I've found a beautifully modified Golf on the bay of e, OK, so this is a MK4 but the possibilities for customising these things are apparently endless, as the following masterpiece demonstrates:

"The ultimate advertising tool?" Really? I think that the word "advertising" is possibly superfluous in that phrase!
It's amazing how the car has been subtly tweaked here & there, yet uses the original headlamps. Anyone who doesn't know Golves might jump to the conclusion that it's a different sort of car entirely..

He missed a trick with the exhausts, he should have used straight pipes with tractor flappers on the top

It must have failed the mot as it has the wrong style of number plates fitted.

Testers these days seem ever more concerned with advisory notes on such earth shatteringly vital points as "horn emits a slightly poor tone" (my Volvo 345) and "plastic wheel trims fitted so unable to test that wheelnuts are present in correct quantity" (a student's rather nicely rebuilt miniMetro, whose non-TD wheels came from the factory like that and which must have been better finished generally than the cars were when new in 1980).
Non-reflective plates tend generally to be overlooked by testers but that awfully nice Police Officer in the shiny Jaguar that just flashed its lamps at you is quite liable to take action, assuming he's not still far too busy studying this useful piece of procedural guidance:
