breakdown truck

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

I do that all the time as well. I just look the other way and make out I know nothing about it....

I reckon that the SD1 is more suitable for Mr Kubrick than his Porsche was.,, ;)

I love the phrase that's sign written on the Bedford recovery truck:
Insurance claims arranged..

I have visions of the truck being used in various instances of fraud!

It's not a D0607 and it's not MOT exempt.

Hmm that's a broken down truck, which isn't quite the same thing but hold on..
The eBay user who composed that listing wrote:CLASSIC LEYLAND BEAVER WRECKER
 :scared:

PLEASE, for the love of all that's working and in possession of a justifiable test certificate, DO NOT search Google for "Beaver Wrecker", not unless your safe search is set to extra, extra strict with additional strictness, otherwise you will discover a new use for a driveshaft boot stretcher.. At least that's what I assume it was!
