breakdown truck

Got something to say, but it's not classic related? Here's the place to discuss. Also includes the once ever-so-popular word association thread... (although we've had to start from scratch with it - sorry!)

Nice front winch. It might help hold the front down a bit when there's anything on the hook....

Rich, I need some sort of clever gizmo. Knights of old, when they went off to war, left their women protected with a chastity belt. The cleverest ones had a small guillotine which could decapitate a John Thomas in an instant.

For the second time some obnoxious turd has pilfered one of the MG badges off one of the hub caps of my car. NTG are a company in Ipswich that supply parts for older MG's. The lady there told me that there are some types who almost think it's OK to go home with a trophy that is someone else's property. She added that the octagon badge is a magnet for these kleptos.

Did you ever get the chance to see the chariot race in Ben Hur? The wheels of the chariots had little spinners that had sharp blades on them, something like that would be perfect, much as I would like to emulate the Knights of old, I'll settle for their thieving finger tips.

SNATCH BLOCKS, CHAINS, SLINGS,ETC,ETC,
Each to their own, but I'd want whips and rubber suits as well. Nice truck though, and definitely one to buy if you want to go on a voyage of destruction through a housing scheme with a police car following you.

The listing had ended and it just showed a low loader trailer for me, but with a little extra effort I found the original listing. I like that, my neighbours probably wouldn't. Good to see it being sold with 12 months MOT, and not "MOT exempt" because they're not test exempt any more.

I've booked my appointment at specsavers, I just hope I can see to get there....
