People do the same thing on eBay since they pulled the "Want It Now" and swap options. I'd sell the Golf and buy the BMW he wants once the money for the VW had been received, but maybe that's too easy for the seller of that Golf?
Either that or the price includes the cars and both of the hice in the background, plus a year long holiday on the moon..

When I was At Dalton Park getting some Thorntons Chocolates for family. This rare little number was in the car park.
Until I spotted I thought I was driving the oldest car there!
When was the last time you saw a Vauxhall Nova let alone a 4 door saloon?

I thought it was a Maxi, but google images of the dash didn't look the same
Most Maxis had the wood dash, but the early HL had a padded dash and before that the cable changer had one that looked a bit "Ford"!

Look what I saw today in my local supermarket car park. Can't say I have a love for the Austin Seven, but I do have some memories. When I was a small boy my Dad had a Hudson Hornet, he had bought off an American officer who let him have it quite cheap. Dad used to scare the crap out of Mum, especially as it was L/H/D and Mum faced the oncoming traffic. The resulting domestic caused my Dad to part with the Hudson, he bought an Austin Seven. Oh the shame after the fabulous Hornet.
