anyone driving in that france for the holidays etc.. be warned they have lowered the speed limit on a/b roads to 80kmh.. seems the government wants to make even more money out of me since president macaroon or something like that has decided he needs even more money

Thanks for the heads up mate - as it happens I might well be driving the Ovlov down to S/W France in September, not a journey I'm looking forward to, if I'm honest..... I need to drive there though, - it's a long story.

I presume that this only applies to roads that were previously subject to a 90 km/h limit and that dual carriageways and autoroutes remain unchanged. Now it will take even longer to get around on D roads.

driving home saturday night we were flashed by a radar.. 87kmh in an 80...whats worse wifey was driving.. i dont call her madame schumacher for nothing

yes & no.. its confusing.. the one on my sat nav is illegal but i can buy a coyote detector & thats legal...
