anyone driving in that france for the holidays etc.. be warned they have lowered the speed limit on a/b roads to 80kmh.. seems the government wants to make even more money out of me since president macaroon or something like that has decided he needs even more money :evil:

Thanks for the heads up mate - as it happens I might well be driving the Ovlov down to S/W France in September, not a journey I'm looking forward to, if I'm honest..... I need to drive there though, - it's a long story.

I presume that this only applies to roads that were previously subject to a 90 km/h limit and that dual carriageways and autoroutes remain unchanged. Now it will take even longer to get around on D roads. :(

driving home saturday night we were flashed by a radar.. 87kmh in an 80...whats worse wifey was driving.. i dont call her madame schumacher for nothing :lol:
anyway looking on my phone today i found an application thing that will show where the radars & speed traps are... anyone use them & which would you advise i get.. ;)

yes & no.. its confusing.. the one on my sat nav is illegal but i can buy a coyote detector & thats legal... :?
