I saw this and thought of you. Pass the bucket, eh John?
MG TF Question.
Re: MG TF Question.
The bucket and the eye bleach please. That thing is somebody's pride & joy and I'm no stranger to automotive oddities so must be careful about what I write, just in case I offend someone.

Re: MG TF Question.
Have you seen that car? Of course you have. But the title: Awesome Jaw Dropping Looks. He's made it look like one of those pictures a five year old conjures up when asked to draw a car.
My missus likes the model but as John perceptively states, when commenting on the bastardisation of the MG TF, if you go over the top you just ruin the original.

Re: MG TF Question.
he has a polite way of saying "that cars a ###king eyesore" & it sounds like a compliment... he is so wise, john..the forums yoda...
Cheeky twunt you are..
Hmmph! Small, ugly creature I am not.
The reason for my recent acquisition of diplomatic tendencies is that neither of the cars that reside on my drive these days could be described as fortunate in the looks department, unless the Mitsubishi's cuteness counts. However, there are times - of which this is one - when even Tuvok, out of Star Trek - Voyager, would consider his senses offended by a "modified" car so much that he too would describe that car as a completely illogical use of time by the clearly quite skilled hand that applied all of the bathroom/kitchen trim pieces to the car's previously adequate body. Tell me that it has an en-suite bathroom in the boot and I'll reconsider.
Meanwhile, this is, IMHO, a rare opportunity to use these emoticons:

Re: MG TF Question.
does the pajero come with a charger for your light sabre??
Re: MG TF Question.
Yes, but sadly the boot is too narrow to carry the light sabre so I use the socket to run a USB supply for my phone.
Meanwhile, here comes a slightly heavier Sabre that, IMHO, represents a most worthy alternative to an MGF:

Sadly, it's not the 1800cc, Nissan Sylvia engined model, but as it weighs much the same as an empty balloon the 1.4 litre K series tends to be plenty. These late ones are all Galvanised so none of the sill - and everywhere else underneath - rot that killed earlier examples of Reliant's second best small four wheeler.

Re: MG TF Question.
Worthy alternative? You do like dull cars John. Here's something for you, it's only got one seat, former owner's a hamster. Perhaps not an MG TF, more WTF.JPB wrote: ↑Sat Jun 16, 2018 11:07 amYes, but sadly the boot is too narrow to carry the light sabre so I use the socket to run a USB supply for my phone.
