Yes, wasn't that featured in Practical not so long ago? Fascinating car and very nicely painted by the looks of it.

I'm liking the new GT project though, gotta love a Cortina! :) I wonder, if you leave a Datsun Figaro and a T-bird alone together for an evening of love and romance, would their offspring look like that? ;)

Cheers all.
The light metallic blue car is the saxon recreation.
Built from a single photo of the prototype.Colin Ginn built it
and is a mate of mine and said I could keep it in his garage until my lotus is done
and then I can start on it.He has plenty of mk1 cortinas.
He has mk1 red lotus rally car airflow
mk1 lotus pre airflow
2 x mk1 GT pre airflow and airflow
2 x mk1 fleet cars
1 x woody
saxon
left hand drive 2 door mk1
There just the cars I can think of

Now that the Lotus is finished I thought it was about time to start the GT.
Started stripping the car.Engine is being built by Dynatech Race Engines.
Been collecting a few bits together over the past year including
bonnet/bootlid/wings/sils/rear arches ect ect
