Reviving an old post, as I was looking for info on steering wheel restoration.
Your work is inspirational.
What would it cost for you to re-trim a steering wheel. I've been looking to restore my old leather but that quality and finish has made me wonder if I wouldn't just be a lot happier with the leather replaced.

Patience, skill and sharp needles. I use Millward needles from the sowing shop. I do the odd bit of car trim. Not at this level though.
If one can use a sowing machine then there's money to be made doing curtains for campers and caravans. Easy to do. Tip here is to use quality threads not junk from pound shops. Domestic sowing machines struggle with car trim.
Loads on the internet about sowing.
