my 1974 coupe
Here is my 1974 ford granada ghia coupe, iv had this car bout a year an a half. It came with an mot as some history dating back to new.its solid an mechanicly sound but haz alot of body rust which im sorting slowly. 1st thing I did wos completely serviced the engine an auto box, the engine is smooth an quite an the box is smooth an changes properly. Then I had a full sstainless system fitted as the old system wos rotten then I completely cleaned the underside an arches an waxoiled them as ther all solid with no sighns of welding ever an to keep em that way then I fitted a new rear valence as the old wos rotten then 4 new shockes referbed ronal alloys but still keep original steel rims as original with thid car. Still lots of work to do but its a fantastic drive an thes cars are very rare now so I think its a worth wile project.

My late Father had a 3.0 Ghia saloon in royal blue with black vinyl roof. Loved that car, nowhere near as tidy as your example

Wasn't the Taunus the Cortina by another name. That looks like a Mk3 Cortina in coupé form.

Sort of similar in that the running gear is the same but with body differences. A mate of mine has a 2 door saloon Taunus and the front end is closer to a Mk3 'Tina, but the dash and the rear end of the body is Mk4.Toledo Man wrote:Wasn't the Taunus the Cortina by another name. Re: my 1974 coupe
It's odd that the European Granada coupe differed from the UK one.
Note the differing rear side window.
