Post pictures and stories about your cars both present and past. Also post up "blogs" on your restoration projects - the more pictures the better! Note: blog-type threads often get few replies, but are often read by many members, and provide interest and motivation to other enthusiasts so don't be disappointed if you don't get many replies.

You should be able to alter the alternator to bring the adjustment bolt across closer to the engine. You move it round by 120 degrees anti-clockwise as you look at that pic. The ear that has the adjuster on now becomes the bottom pivot, and the bottom pivot moves around to the top. It will be a lot neater to look at, and judging by the high standard of the rest of the work you've done, it will fit in perfectly when it's done.
Currently over 35 years worth of fixing 35 boxes.
Hoping to reach 65 years worth of fixing 65 boxes.

Ran a bit rough but not bad for the first fire up, switched off the engine and it wouldn’t start again
Had a sulk covered the car and left it till February
Traced the fault to a broken wire on the Distributor and a faulty ignition relay
Fired her up and drove her for the first time under her own power since 2010

Straight through exhaust sounds great
