E reg was the short lived plate, from January to July 1967; the move to August being designed to increase car sales during the Summer, so I understand.

I saw this Mini at a garage near Battle Railway Station. Also I saw a red D-reg Citroen BX, couple of MGBs and a white E-reg Audi Quattaro, all in Battle.

Re: What classic vehicles have you seen?
The green Morris Minor 1000 has just gone past (It might be more newsworthy if I reported when I haven't seen it) and on Wednesday, at the MOT garage, I saw the proprietors Austin Healey (Frogeye) Sprite and their (Awaiting rebuild) MGA Mk2. There has been a garage there since 1938 (Well sited at the top of a hill, as some early garages were) and indeed, the day I bourght my Midget, there wasn't much petrol in it, so we cut across to Sirhowy Garage (The old building was still there then) and my father noitced the Frogeye lurking in the back of the garage ![Exclamation :!:](./images/smilies/icon_exclaim.gif)
