Q's on A/C Compressors changes in displacement & effect

I'm having to install a NONE original/factory Air Conditioning Compressor.
The original was belt driven, but the replacement will be 12v dc electric powered.
The electric powered ones are normally 3 speed compared to the belt driven old one.

The displacement of the original belt driven A/C Compressor is 0.8ci [13.1cc]
The displacement of the electric driven are either 18 or 25 cc.

Amazon has only 25cc displacement options. I've used amazon before.
Alibaba has 18 & 25 cc displacement options. I've never used Alibaba.

Would this mean that the electric one would only operate at lower powered setting for the same amount of use of a belt driven one?
Are there any other problems this increase could cause?
Has anybody use Alibaba? if so good, bad, ugly?
What are best ways to protect yourself buying on Alibaba?
The starting price on either site is £250 upto £400 hence asking.

I haven't used Alibaba either, but they are a Chinese company so I would be inclined to treat them with caution. The other point that crosses my mind is the power consumption of the electric unit. You would be imposing a large additional load on the electrical system and you may need to upgrade the alternator. If you a going electric to reduce the mechanical load on the engine, remember nothing is free and you may be simply replacing the compressor load with an additional alternator load. If it were me I'd stick with the original system.

The reason for the electric option is there is no space on the serpentine belt system. The V6 takes up more space in places than the original inline4. I was going to place it on the opposite side over the gearbox. As for alternator inline4 = 90amp, v6 = 120 or 160amp.
Orginal system was chopped years ago.

Well I've bitten the bullet!
I've bought a 12v DC powered Air Conditioning Compressor off Allibaba. The price was 342.13 USD = 250.07 GBP
Yeah my first purchase isn't bloody cheap one!!!!
I will also have to pay import charges when it gets to the UK too. But with prices going up and up I can see the same part end up costing double by the middle of next year & the shipping charges don't even ask they're already double what the were 6 months ago.
5-10 years ago the same item would have been well over £1,500. And in some places still is!
The ones on Amazon had exposed connectors & power inverters. This meant I wasn't going to put them under the bonnet of my V6 swapped Chrysler Neon. Let's just pray I haven't F'ed up!
I did take the precaution of using Paypal to buy it so there are some buyer protections there I hope.

It's 18cc with a Speed Range (rpm)1500 - 6000

I've been contacted by the seller asking which control method I would like.
I choose the simplest method of control no multi sensor variable speed.

I see that even at the slowest speed it consumes 490 watts, which is over 40 amps at 12 volts
