ROVER P6 Master Cylinder

#1 Post by Diesel Fionn » Fri Jan 29, 2016 10:41 pm

Hi is the pipe from the reservoir to the master cylinder on the s2 2200 SC detachable as I need to replace the steel pipe to the master cylinder and I'm not sure if I have a spare or what the pipe is like from it. The pipe kit I bought online did not include it and we can't find a nut to unscrew at the base of the reservoir. Also if the nuts/bolts shear when lowering the diff to work on the rear calipers, how big a job is it to replace them???

On my 2200SC the pipe is rubber and was originally a push fit, although I added jubilee clips when it started to leak. The rear calipers can be removed without dropping the diff, although some people removed the discs, leaving the diff in place.
