Aftermarket wheels for 1960 Hillman Husky Series 2
Re: Aftermarket wheels for 1960 Hillman Husky Series 2
Yours should have the Ford stud pattern, only the Imp-derived cars had 4" hubs afaIk.

Just a thought -I appreciate that original 15" tyres aren't exactly easy to obtain, but the original 15" wheels look right on the car and a 13", even with original cross-ply tyres will be a smaller diameter. Apart from making the car slower and more noisy, what would you gain from the smaller wheel?
I have fond memories of the early Husky, a friend and colleague of my father had two in the late 50's - early 60's and they fascinated me (though my grandmother and uncle had Minxes). I nearly bought an "Imp Husky" in the early 70's, but couldn't get someone to guarantee that the HP would be paid. The car was a massive £375, but I don't know why the price sticks in my memory! I wonder if its wheels ended up on a Mini - common practice in those days!

Measurements carried out today indicate an ET of 50mm on the existing wheel.
Have looked at Mondeo's wheel with 6J and ET of 40mm.
This seems to work but will look at various styles before moving forward on anything.

All things this summer went pear-shaped so the Husky has sat and waited.
Getting back into doing things on the vehicle.
Possible alternative to Ford are Peugeot 307 wheels it seems.

That, and the equivalent Citroens, do indeed have a 4x108pcd, but the ET on a FWD fitment won't be compatible with RWD. That said, they're more inset so at least you can address this with suitable spacers and longer studs to get them to sit in the correct position relative to the hub centres.
I like the idea that there's a use for these modern French cars.
