I tried the woollies stuff and it didn't work. At least they gave me a full refund and they knew why. The modern types of plastic are not suitable for their product. They know their onions though. I was dissapointed but their service is good and that counts for a lot.

What did you try it on? In what way didn't it work?StephenL wrote:I tried the woollies stuff and it didn't work.
Some people are like Slinkies - they serve no useful purpose, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them downstairs.

Some vinyl I had bought for some trim repairs.
It was a "modern" vinyl, not a "vintage vinyl" and the type of vinyl meant the woolies stuff didn't work. That is what they told me. Sorry that's all I know.

I think the Woolies stuff is for soft stuff like doorcards, RatSport does stuff for injection moulded vinyl here:

Dash caps are a pretty good solution on Mercedes Benz, I'm not sure about a sierra. For the most part, they look OK but feel like hard cheap plastic. The heat will warp it eventually so don't glue down.
Another option is to find a car with a good dash and pull it.
