June 2011 Practical Classics? Any thoughts?

#1 Post by admin » Thu May 19, 2011 4:12 pm

Well the June 2011 has been on sale for a few days now - any thoughts / feedback / discussion etc? Find the tyre chart to be useful? Not? Waste of paper? Like the Longstone poster? Not? Etc, etc.

Cheers,

Neil

Well I haven't had a chance to buy it yet; but I hear accross the wire that a certain DoloMIGHTY! has his car in it...!

Mine hasn't arrived yet so I had a quick look in one at the newsagent's earlier today, Alan does indeed have his car included but they spelt his name wrongly.

I guessed correctly that they put an 'H' in it, but now I have this vision of a tall, metallic doloMIGHTY! coming out of a space ship in a park and going crazy with a gun. :P

Another good edition, IMHO, keep it up guys. :)

Well I've got it and I thought it was a brilliant issue. The tyre pull out will be very useful and the sheet metal cutters a handy comparison which gave me some new ideas. Enjoyed the Land Rover article but found it ammusing how the C reg G-Wagon was compared to a vitually brand new TDCI Defender.

It keeps getting better and better.

Alan actually is tall and metalic though.
Have you forgotten that once we were brought here we were robbed of our names, robbed of our language,we lost our religion, our culture, our God? And many of us by the way we act,we even lost our minds.

I got a copy :) .

I have to admit this is the first copy of PC I have purchased in well over 12 months.

Not had a good chance to read it properly yet (hoping to this weekend). First impressions (and that's what counts) it looks vastly improved on that last edition I purchased all that time ago.

Well done the new editorial team at PC, glad to see a return to form.

....now someone pass me the metal polish...

I was wondering if that was yours.I thought to myself there is somone on the forum that has a car like that and thought maybe that is the actual car.So that answers that then.
I hate Neil though :x Not only has he one Saab, but he now has two, the jammie git  .Its particularly sensitive for me cause I recently sold my "modern" Saab very reluctantly but also cause I wouldnt mind having this mdel Saab too.

Nice to see some more of Sam Glover's fleet. I love odd Eastern European stuff. Now let's see his Ami 6!
