Hmm, the inclusion of modern vehicles is a good plan as it means that the show will be even more packed out this time around. Or rather it would be, were it not the case that such devices as very much newer BMW MINIs, etc, are already eligible when they're part of a club display.
Short of putting down some nice strong planks across the water and standing the extra cars right on top of the lades at either side of the engine house, I actually don't see how they'd squeeze any more in yet I want very much to see your Neon there and if this is the incentive it takes to get the thing back on the road, it's all good in my view!

Reminder it is NEXT WEEKEND!!

I will be attending, but forgive me if I don't see you. As I will be trying to focus on the vehicles and
not the people as they don't move so you will need to shout out or give me a poke and identify
yourselves!

See you there if you pardon the pun!

I've been looking since Sunday's lunch time and still haven't found a pun but I do know how to find Ryhope Engines Museum so I'll be the one wearing a T-shirt with the slogan "Point me to the Neon" printed on the back of it. Can't wait to see the thing in the flesh.

As it's a neon, shouldn't that be see it in the flash?
Understeer: when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer: when you hit the wall with the back of the car.
Horsepower: how fast you hit the wall.
Torque: how far you take the wall with you.

Christine isn't finished for obvious reasons so she will be sitting this one out!
And if those of you who have been to this event before think it is in an exposed spot look at the photos
in my build thread and you will see I would love to have such a sheltered spot to work on the old girl if
I was well enough!

So before anybody else gets any sudden FLASH of inspiration, and thinks they can ILLUMINATE others
on the errors in my build. Please don't as it's not nice to do it to others as you wouldn't like it if youe
faults or errors were flood lit!

Might were a black jumper with a white strip or t=shirt jeans and blue jacket, black document shoulder
bag as usual with my phone meds and and car bits I buy at the auto jumble
walking stick glasses. And my haur tied back in a ponytail. NO beards or face hair.

Okay a bit of a heads up on the ground situation for tomorrow!

For those who attended previously know that the ground at the rear on top
has a bit of a slop to it and if it has been raining or thick fog it means loss
of traction when moving vehicles!

Those who have seen the photos in my build thread know that I can see up
and down the coast from where I am in Blackhall Rocks. Up to Shields and
down the coast past Maske on the far side of Redcar.

Yesterday it was foggy here and a little rain overnight, so today the garden
is still a little wet and we haven't had enough sun or warmth to dry it out
enough to drive on or to cut it. My garden doesn't have as much tree
coverage/shade as that of the Ryhope grounds so that might fair worse!

Just thought I'd let you know, take care but enjoy yourself.

I'll be there - assuming that everything goes to plan - in a vehicle that can climb that slope that runs along the side of the far lade, from a standing start regardless of how deep the clarts are on the day and it (probably) won't end up falling back into the lade and drowning its occupants.
Can you guess what I've blagged a lift in? It's not one of mine, it's not a 4x4 and nor is it a three wheeled contraption. ;)
